About
This site is meant to serve any individual with an interest in science, education, and government.
These three disciplines are tightly interwoven, and only by participation in all of them can we make progress in any of them.
Each year, physicists who work at, but are not paid by, the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (FNAL, or Fermilab) and the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC) travel to Washington D.C. We go in order to educate Congress about our work, to ask Congress to support this work by calling for investment in the physical sciences via the Department of Energy’s Office of Science and the National Science Foundation, and to learn how we can better educate the Congress and the public.
We don’t want this to be a once-per-year experience, and this site was born out of an independent desire to continue our efforts in science, education, and the political process. The domain has been registered through Yahoo! Small Business using personal funds, and is hosted at a non- government-sponsored site. You are invited to use this resource to communicate news and call for action on science-related issues in the government. This site will evolve over time to better serve the community, so please send all comments or ideas to
